Alessandra de Rossi back to KAPAMILYA

Alessandra de Rossi will be seen again at ABS-CBN where she started her showbiz career as a host at Cyberkada (a youth oriented show of ABS-CBN). Alex is also a part of Star Circle Batch 6. She will play as Cristina Alegro on the new upcoming show I ♥ Betty la fea.
Rumors are also spreading out about Alex's jumping to ABS-CBN network and this was Alex's statement to the intrigues coming out:

"Kasi hindi na ako puwedeng naka-stambay lang sa bahay. Kailangan kong magtrabaho,"
"Sobra naman yung ingrata, ‘yung mga years na nasa GMA ako, naging very loyal ako at very grateful ako sa nagawa nila sa akin, sa career ko, sa bank account ko,"
"Kaya lang kailangan ko ring magtrabaho. Hindi ako puwedeng matengga dahil maraming nakaasa sa akin, meron din akong binabayarang bahay."

Catch Sandara Park

The former star circle quest winner Sandara Park unexpectedly arrived in Manila for a vacation of six days. As what everybody knows, Sandara left the Philippines last year and pursue a career in Korea.
The young actress was so nervous about flying on her own that she didn’t eat much during the flight. Her instant request upon arrival was to eat sinigang and sisig, her favorite Filipino dishes. Even though she was tired, she was very excited to see showbiz and non-showbiz friends alike. And hopefully she gets to see them all before she leaves for Seoul again on the 12th.

Sandara has been training intensively in singing, dancing, and acting for her Korean showbiz debut. She has already been seen as a star for a music video opposite one of Korea’s popular teen idols. She was rumored to be part of a girl group, said to be the counterpart of YG’s biggest boy band, Big Bang. However, all Sandara could say is that she’s waiting patiently for that big break to happen.

"Dear Friend"

The Jolina-Marvin team up is back again through GMA's new show "Dear Friend". Dear Friend's concept is like 'she said' 'he said'. There will be letter senders who will share their true to life stories in life then Marvin and Jolina will portray it. At the end of the story they'll be giving an advice to the sender.

Their love team became famous in the entertainment industry through ABS-CBN in mid 90's such as these hit television shows and movies: "GIMIK", "Labs Ko Si Babes", "Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang?", "Kung Ayaw Mo...Huwag Mo" and many more.

What will their fans expect to be in "Dear Friend"? Will the "kilig" tandem still alive?

Reunion of old friends

Last June 29, Star Magic have celebrated their 16th anniversary in show business. The brightest stars of ABS-CBN gathered in the said event which was held at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel's grand ballroom. The celebration also seemed to be a reunion of old friends. As I view some of those captured moments (see photos @ team kapamilya) in the event, the previous cast of Tabing Ilog has caught my eyes. Kaye, John Lloyd, Desiree and Jodi are present in the gathering. I was an avid fan of this youth oriented show which was aired on ABS-CBN every Sunday afternoon. This show lasted more than four years (March 1999 – October 2003) and it has captured the hearts of young people.
