Maricar Reyes: Newbie Kapamilya

MARICAR REYES, star magic’s newest talent is recently being compared to Heart Evangelista and Mikee DCojuangco in some physical aspects. Before venturing into this new field, Maricar did lots of TV commercial projects and even modeling. This young lady is a BS Biology graduate and holds a professional degree of Medicine.

Maricar was discovered by Mr. Johnny Manahan in a TV ad she did for a fast food company. Later on she joins the cast of "I Love Betty La Fea" wherein she played as Armando's first love. I watched several episodes of this show and I could say that they have a lot in common with Heart Evangelista, from physical aspects through the way she delivers her speech. At my first glance to her, I thought she was Heart's sister.

Simply Kaye Abad

Katherine Grace Cosme Abad is a versatile actress born on the 17th of May 1982. She is popularly known as “Kaye Abad” in the entertainment industry. Kaye is a batch 3 member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic talents since 1993. Kaye became well known in showbizness through her Tabing Ilog show which aired almost four years in television. She has proven her superb talents as she won her first award; First Runner-up for Best Actress Asian TV Awards (1998). She had done various tv shows, movies, tv commercials and so
on.

Kaye will again showcase her acting talent in an Independent Film entitled "Iliw". This is her first independent film. It is a collaboration between Japanese and Filipino talents, the story focuses on the occupation of Japanese in 1940's. Kaye Abad will be the main character in the story - another challenging role for her to prove her super acting talent.
