"Dear Friend"

The Jolina-Marvin team up is back again through GMA's new show "Dear Friend". Dear Friend's concept is like 'she said' 'he said'. There will be letter senders who will share their true to life stories in life then Marvin and Jolina will portray it. At the end of the story they'll be giving an advice to the sender.

Their love team became famous in the entertainment industry through ABS-CBN in mid 90's such as these hit television shows and movies: "GIMIK", "Labs Ko Si Babes", "Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang?", "Kung Ayaw Mo...Huwag Mo" and many more.

What will their fans expect to be in "Dear Friend"? Will the "kilig" tandem still alive?

Reunion of old friends

Last June 29, Star Magic have celebrated their 16th anniversary in show business. The brightest stars of ABS-CBN gathered in the said event which was held at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel's grand ballroom. The celebration also seemed to be a reunion of old friends. As I view some of those captured moments (see photos @ team kapamilya) in the event, the previous cast of Tabing Ilog has caught my eyes. Kaye, John Lloyd, Desiree and Jodi are present in the gathering. I was an avid fan of this youth oriented show which was aired on ABS-CBN every Sunday afternoon. This show lasted more than four years (March 1999 – October 2003) and it has captured the hearts of young people.
