Reunion of old friends

Last June 29, Star Magic have celebrated their 16th anniversary in show business. The brightest stars of ABS-CBN gathered in the said event which was held at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel's grand ballroom. The celebration also seemed to be a reunion of old friends. As I view some of those captured moments (see photos @ team kapamilya) in the event, the previous cast of Tabing Ilog has caught my eyes. Kaye, John Lloyd, Desiree and Jodi are present in the gathering. I was an avid fan of this youth oriented show which was aired on ABS-CBN every Sunday afternoon. This show lasted more than four years (March 1999 – October 2003) and it has captured the hearts of young people.

Camille back in showbiz

After several months being not active in the showbiz industry and went to California to gave birth, Camille Prats is now back in showbiz through GMA's new Sinenovela entitled "Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan". This sinovela is based on the classic 1982 movie which was originally played by Hilda Koronel, Ms. Vilma Santos and Dindo Fernando.

The Real Bea Alonzo

"The Real me" is the debut album of Bea Alonzo being the newest family of Star Records. Bea is not new into singing. In fact she has already recorded a song from Maging Sino Ka Man 2 soundtrack. In her album, we can hear the original soundtrack composition of Philippine version "Betty La Fea" entitled "Kagandahan".

Aside from promoting her debut album, we'll be seeing again Bea Alonzo in ABS-CBN's primetime bida as she portray the leading role of "Betty La Fea" to be aired soon.
